Hehe! How are all my wonderful buddies doing today? I am doing fantastic. I checked out Sparkpeople yesterday (thanks Jo) and it reupped my motivation. Don’t worry, this is my home. :) Got some things to catch you guys up on…
1. The bursitis in my hip is getting better. Actually got a workout in yesterday and now my legs are killing me.
2. Oh the wooohoo…the reason I’m so excited is I finally fit into the skinny dress pants I got for work. Now I have been in a size 8 for a couple of months now and the scale isn’t freaking moving but this morning I needed a pair of pants for work and haven’t done laundry. These are a size 8 as well but because they are GAP they run awfully small. The last time I tried to get them on I could get them up to my knees! Today…they are on and feeling great!
3. Now for the not so good news. I have to go get some “girlie” surgery done on Monday. No fears buddies, I will be fine but I don’t know how much I will be on BS next week. It is outpatient surgery but I am going to need a couple of days to recupe and then it’s Turkey Day!
4. Speaking of surgery…it looks like my husband will have to go under the knife as well for some shoulder problems he has been having. Please keep us both in your thoughts.
5. Tomorrow is weigh in day for the Wildcats! I have a really good feeling about this week and can’t wait to see what kind of numbers we bring in. Anyone interested in joining the team can get in touch with either me or Kama as we are almost always looking for new members.
6. Oh and I almost forgot….Kama and I have a new mantra that we would like to share with you guys…”I have a life to love” It came from a Kama typo, but I really liked it and I’m going to keep repeating it to myself when I want to make a choice that isn’t good for me. It’s my life and I have to love it!
7. Speaking of choices that aren’t good for me….I almost had a horrible binge yesterday. I wanted salt and I wanted NOW!!!! I called out to Kama and Nancy and they talked me off the ledge and back to safe ground. Thanks guys! I did learn something from that though…if you are craving salt…try cheese! It worked for me. Nancy wanted me to try seaweed, but I decided to pass.
Okie dokie, I think that’s all I got for today. Now….go get moving!
