Actually I just don’t know where to start. I know what I want to cover so let me start with a list of that stuff. Doctor’s scale, chocolate chip cookies, mental health day, sore legs, weigh in tomorrow, team activity. I think that is it, but who knows. Okay…ready….begin!
1. I went to the doctor on Tuesday and was a bit scared to step on their scale. See, I haven’t been to the doctor in about 18 months (past due for my annual) and have just been relying on my scale. However, I became obsessed with my scale and had hubby hide it for the past week. Turns out that the dreaded doctors scale became my friend on Tuesday…told me I was three pounds down from last weigh in on Friday at home!
2. Chocolate Chip cookies: Short story…husband and daughter decided to make cookies Tuesday night. They filled the house with such a delicious sent. AND I found that I could work one cookie a day into my food intake! Only 48 calories and soooo worth it. Nice and warm and gooey!
3. Mental Health day: Sooooo, on Tuesday the doc said that I needed a mental health day. A day for me to do whatever I wished. Interesting but what was one day going to do? Let me tell you friends, it did me a world of good. I got up and got hubby off to work, did my workout until my daughter got up. Ran her to school and came home. I vegged like I have never vegged before. I read an entire book. I got a bubble bath. I read some more. I watched tv. I LOVED IT! One day was plenty though, I am refreshed and I am back full force!
4. Sore legs: The Wildcats team challenge this week is to do a set of 10 leg exercises every time you go to the bathroom….MY LEGS ARE KILLING ME!!!! (Enough said).
5. Weigh In tomorrow…yep, tomorrow is team weigh in. I’m anxious, I’m excited, and I’m scared spitless! Haven’t weighed in on my own scale all week. I have no idea where I stand. I feel good about the choices that I have made, but I don’t know where I stand with them. I have been on a plateau for seven weeks now and it’s getting old. Oh, I lie, I broke the plateau last week with a one pound gain. Another reason to be very skeptical tomorrow.
6. Team activity….I just have to say once again how proud I am of the Wildcat team members! You guys are so awesome and I love the support that you all give to each other. Now, stop reading blogs and go do some squats!
Happy Thursday all!
